The first aid course

The first aid course has started at Batna 2 University in its third edition, as part of a cooperation agreement between the Civil Protection Directorate of Batna and the university. The aim of this course is to promote first aid awareness among students and equip them with the necessary skills to handle emergency situations, which is crucial for raising health awareness within the university community.

The course is being held at the university’s central library, from Sunday, February 2, 2025, to Thursday, February 6, 2025. Participants have been divided into two groups. This organization allows the instructors to deliver theoretical and practical content in a comfortable and structured manner, helping students better absorb the information and enhancing their understanding of how to act in emergency situations.

The course covers a wide range of essential first aid topics, such as how to deal with simple and complex injuries, as well as providing assistance in cases of fainting, choking, and bleeding. The training also includes how to perform artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), vital skills that can save lives in emergencies.
