Encryption is a means of transforming intelligible data into incomprehensible data using an encryption key in order to protect the information against unauthorized access. This team is particularly interested in security issues, it proposes watermarking methods to protect copyrights, encryption methods to ensure confidentiality, and it is also interested in the problem of authentication, which guarantees to each of the correspondents that their partner is who they think it is.
