On May 18, 2025, a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence at the Crossroads” was presented, where the impacts of artificial intelligence on various sectors such as healthcare, cybersecurity, and artistic creativity were discussed. The focus was on current applications such as ChatGPT and medical diagnostics, as well as future prospects in quantum AI and autonomous robotics. The lecture also addressed challenges related to misinformation, labor market disruptions, and energy demand, emphasizing the importance of ethical AI development to ensure the benefit of society as a whole.
